Player Richarlison

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I thought he looked knackered at the end of the first half. It looked like it was a fitness issue as it definitely wasn't a performance one he did well with a great assist too.

exactly that, when hes on he causes panic and is a threat in the air. it dont look pretty but it gets the job done. give me richy over anyone else we have in that front line. he also has that street fighter in him, thats invaluable to a team like us when we have meek pussys everywhere.

There was a video posted in another thread of all the players driving in in their cars. Guess who the only one stopping to sign shirts was. He’s a good lad too.

dont know why he gets the hate he does. hes not berbatov, we all know that. but he goes into the trenches everytime, and like you said he fucking effects games! it aint always pretty but fuck me its about making an impact and he does. we are a better side when hes in it, we aint nowhere near as soft. one thing you have to give him credit for is that hes fucking top notch in the air! that header yesterday looks simple but a lot probably stupidly go for goal there.

id rather see better players on the ball of course, but theres far more we need to upgrade on before richalison is the weak link!

I suspect it’s people just being fed up with his injuries mainly. He’s not a bad player, he’s just rarely fit. I bet he goes to another club in the summer and regains his fitness.

Yes, but as mentioned, he also took the wrong decision at least on a couple of occasions.

Left to me I would bring him on with 30 mins to go.

In the away leg, we need solidity and also the pace of Odobert or Tel.

Johnson for his goals but I am not sure he offers enough defensively to start the away leg.

This is the same guy that donated all of the clothes that Nike gave him when he first got signed to them as a teenager to the homeless. And who fought the Brazilian government over them wanting to buy out a hospital to make a resort.

Richy is by all accounts, a properly good egg.

I dont dislike the guy because his heart is in the right place, but his actual output record at all clubs hes been at in England leaves a lot to be desired. His injury troubles just compound that. Attitude is spot on, physical presence and desire on the pitch great - I think for me the big problem is he was signed for a lot of wonga and hasnt performed to that level, like a lot of our big signings. His best games for Everton came as an inside forward coming in from the left - we had Son there when we bought him so it can only be presumed he was the Kane replacement before Kane had even left, which are impossible boots to fill. If he goes then good luck to him - hes always tried to put in a shift for us when hes been available... but I think there are better options out there for us for far less money, who would hopefully stay fit longer. His unpredictability could actually come in handy in the semi and hopefully EL final...

Chaos player. But in his own way has some flair and brings some unpredictability to our forward line - something it badly needs.
Would have no problem him replacing Solanke - nothing in it.
Prefer him in the middle to out wide.
