Player Richarlison

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The 9 is already mine. There's nothing to choose from. I had a good World Cup, even though I didn't win the title. Here in the national team, everyone knows that I am the goal man. There's nothing to choose from, 9 is mine."

They cut off the bit where he said "So go fuck yourself Jesus, you snivelling little gooner shite!"
Imagine the jesus tears and pout for this one

I'm generally basing my opinion on what we saw from him at Everton. I think there is a good player there, but he might be one of those players that likes to feel like a big fish in a small pond. He's obviously not going to be that when you have the likes of Kane and Son in the team.

I think it's too soon still to write him off yet. But despite him scoring a few goals in the World Cup, I'll never see him as a Kane replacement or someone that will become a definite starter every week.
It doesn't seem realistic to expect Richarlison to be more than he is. He was a good, not great, player for Everton and that's likely what he'll be for Spurs.

Very excited to see him in Ange’s system.

I think he will start often on 1 of the wings, and be attacking the box constantly.

Would also be the perfect striker in Ange’s system so can play that role. He will play the Maeda role from Celtic, one of Ange’s favourite players.

Maeda had a poor touch, slightly erratic passing, but would attack 1on1 situations and always arrive in the box in great positions to score, and could also play as striker. Richarlison is very similar with a lot more quality.

10+ goals for him this season.
Oooh 10 goals, Halaand must be shitting himself. This diving diver can do one

He’s got an awful lot of confidence for a guy who has scored one league goal in a season. He might flourish under Ange and be a different player but I think he will struggle to get in the team. He’s not playing up front if Kane stays and isn’t a quick wide player that Ange likes in his wingers.
I just don’t think he’s very good at anything which for £60 million is bonkers

His touch is terrible. His work rate is good as his ability to dive and win fouls, that’s it. I guess his confidence and banter are good for a dressing room but I’m not having a player that can’t control a ball

Exactly, but a lot of people got giddy because of his goals in the World Cup as a striker. I see him as a good, hard working player that's versatile but far from prolific. Once he gets the monkey off of his back of scoring his first Premier League goal next season then hopefully we'll see the Everton version of him.

What Brazil shows is that he plays better when he's established in a team and playing with better players.

Who would have thought that?

Fucking hell.

Playing for brazil doesnt make you elite.
No.. but it means your probably gonna be pretty bloody good...at the very least a touch special. If you ever get the chance ... Take a walk along copacabana water front and take a note at the level of ball control shown by everyone playing their little keepy upy. Games . I came bac from s America in 99 and in the first week I saw a prem club play at my home town team.. their players were struggling to achieve what the kids/women/ and men did..it was truly shocking..

I think he will get back to his Everton form and he may pick up an extra five goals just from being in a system that plays to his strengths.

Sorry my text was sarcastic. Probably didnt come across right

Can only see him as Pavlychenko MK 2. The fans will be happy to see him on as a sub and will sing him on as a positive change, but will score no goals. Fine. But 60m is a bit much for a Pav.

He was the most likely 'certainty' for 12 +goals, that's what the 60m buys you. Injuries and conte being a bit weird helped to stop that.

Getting a Son or Kane getting 15 league goals year on year is going to be difficult

Pav was a traffic cone when he wasn't scoring the occasional screamer, rich will run a lot and score a few. 60m is the price for 10 guaranteed league goals. That's what he was supposed to bring imo.
