Player Richarlison

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Agree. He’s been out for ages and has struggled for a while with injuries. So what does the manager do, starts him 5 games in a row.

Really, is it any surprise he is injured again?

We are fucking up these players recovery. He was never injured at Everton, Solanke wasn’t at Bournemouth either, yet they come to us and fall apart. It isn’t a coincidence is it?

This manager could break a fucking anvil.

When somebody gets injured so often I just start thinking perhaps unfairly that he cant be taking enough care of his body.

Either way its a cut throat sport and he is clearly of fuck all use to use.

VDV is progressing along similar lines he is a far better player than Richie but if he has hammys made of glass he nmeeds to go, there is no use in sympathy we have to ruthleslly cut those who are hindering us if we ever want to be successful again.

Who on earth thought £60m was a good idea for this guy.

Regardless of the injuries, he was no where near that level of investment. Hopefully most of it is wrapped up in appearance add on and such like so we don't have to pay that amount. But we've probably spent £30/£40m on him already with stepped payments.

Depressingly bad.

Such a shame. It's easy to be frustrated with him, but in reality he's probably just as fucked off as we are.

Unfortunately, we can't carry him any longer.

As the man said: "The best ability is availability".

Sorry for the guy. That's maybe him done at top level. Wasn't Maddison saying Richy is nowhere near ready to play yet? If that is so and he came straight back in instead of being slowly introduced then that's another shocking bit of squad management.
If he's body is not up for it then just give him minutes to keep him fit and in the shop window.
Strange double standards if we're apparently so so careful with VDV and Romero and keep banging on about it in pressers but just threw Richy in like if it wasn't to be expected what will happen.

I wonder how much of this is in his head now. Sturridge was the same at Liverpool years ago, always had to be 100% fit. Any knock or strain would rule him out.

For me, Van Dijk elbowed Richy and then provoked him with unsportsmanlike behaviour. They were both at least yellow cards and VAR looked the other way. In fact, Sky Sports think it is wise to do it, consider it "trolling" and promote it on their videos.

Yet they somehow spent hours before the game claiming Bergvall was the devil, and virtue signal anti-bullying campaigns. Double standards, hypocrisy, inconsistency, incompetence from everybody involved.

Not saying we deserved to win that game at all or Richy has never wound anyone up, just that it was very clear he was being targeted unfairly and left unprotected by the officials and mocked by the media. They'll incorrectly say I am being salty when I am simply pointing out the facts.

He turns 28 in may and has 2 years left on his contract.
He only played 550 minutes in all competitions this season.
I can see him sitting out his contract with us because nobody will pay him the wages we do and this is likely to be his last big contract.
I guess we will pay him out in 2026 à la ndombele. Unless he wants to go back to brazil this summer...

He want to play with Brazil at next WC.

From one POV its blessing for us, cause i dont see him wanting to root on our bench/physio room next season because of this. So definitely he will want to move out if we tell him he is done here this summer.

But on the other hand, he might not fancy Saudi move - also because of Brazil National team ambitions.

Unless Everton somehow help us, we need to pray some Brazilian side will be able at least to partially afford him
