Crazy how he fell off. Was an absolute warrior at Everton, and dynamic for Watford before that. Maybe his crazy playing style finally caught up with his somewhat lighter frame? Really terrible loss for us though- we'll be lucky if we can sell him for anything this or next summer.

I thought that was just a baseless rumor? If so- bizarre. The next club he goes to surely will be on a pay-to-play, show us you can be fit again, type thing. He's only played like 4-5 games the past two seasons. How could anyone possibly want to give a guaranteed contract to a player like that?
We signed him injured. He'd already had multiple muscle injuries, and his knee was a problem. Whomever did his medical at Spurs should be strung up.
With 2 grade 3 tears; he is done at this level of football - he will never be able to play consistently. His only option is playing part time at a less demanding league.
Makes sense- and I appreciate the background- I wasn't aware he had been so badly injured at Everton. A season or two at Fluminense and maybe 2-3 more seasons dropping to the Brazilian 2nd division. Hopefully he didn't spend all his earnings yet- he probably won't be racking in any more big contracts.

Yeah that interest probably was just a rumor, but when it comes to Levy asking for crazy amounts for our players, that ain't baseless, we know that's exactly how he rolls.

One of our worst ever transfers. Guy been shamelessly robbing a living for 3 years. If he had any decency or pride, he'd have told the club to only pay him when fit & playing...or come to an agreement with the hierarchy to terminate his contract early. But no, let's take the mickey out of the club & fans. I have zero respect or sympathy for him.
I wish he didn’t. Everything wrong with our club is summed up by him amd the fact plenty of fans think he’s a good player.
