It is certainly quite difficult to see how any striker scores more from the players around them, although that is not to say that a better all round striker might not make those around them a bit better.
I do think some players get more criticism than their performances warrant, even if they should not even be part of the medium-term plans.
Annoying that we've scored some all-timers in shite losses to the scum. Lamela's Puskas winner will always be tainted by the fact we went on to lose that game, while this Rich goal could've been iconic if it wasn't such a rancid result.
