Player Richarlison

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It is clear his game is in the box. The closer to the goal the less sh!t he would be. Once he runs around he is totally lost and has no skills to do anything positive. Inside the box (especially the 6-yard box) he is not afraid to slide, lead with his head or even put his whole body in for a cross. And that last part is the only thing you could possibly appreciate about him even through he is not efficient at that as well. Still have RKM and Solanke ahead of him as #9s.

The good thing, if he looks good, we can only wish it might help us ship him out in January and end this nightmare.

Legit question.
Do you get annoyed when he plays well?
Of course not but I don’t get carried away when he does well. Good players are consistent and Richy is not a good player. I thought at the start of the season when he was excellent against PSG,Burnley and contribute against City I thought he’d maybe going to kick on,stay fit and have a decent level of performance. He never because he’ll always revert back to what he is.

Can we cease this baffling cheerleading of RKM. He's shit.

We're talking about putting a player with no goals or assists in 11 PL matches ahead of one with 7 goals and 3 assists.

We should be sending him back to PSG - not putting him in the first 11.
Tbf, the majority of them 11 matches have been played out wide to accommodate Richarlison, and any wide player is going to struggle with this hoofball nonsense we are playing.

I would agree with you that RKM probably isn’t the long term answer and I would be slow to make the move permanent, but I do think he is currently the best striker we have and should be starting at 9 ahead of Richarlison.

Excellent box striker. Not as good in terms of hold up play.

We need an alternative to him in CF (Solanke) but he is far from our worst issue. He has 8 goals so far, If he plays most of this season he will probably get 15-20 goals which is a decent return.

Rated MoM by the bbc pundits yesterday. A couple of sublime through balls that could easily have resulted in goals and superb hold up play. Really in the zone at the moment. Our most skilful player - at least the spurs players think so.
