Somebody told me his goal scoring record the other day for us and I had to do a double take, it was nowhere near as bad as I expected.
But simultanously he has games like tonight where if he was playing for my old pub team I would bring him off after 20 minutes.
You would think he could find a little bit of consistency, its a WC year....
On balance you need consistency and he's just not it is he?

He needs wingers that can run in behind. Because he’s no threat at all in behind and why we have no through passes.
Who scores at a higher rate?
He's not consistent enough to play as ST for us. But he can be useful at LW where he can crash the box and poach goals and press a lot.
Just last week most of the folks on this board were saying how RKM is too shit to play ST, and Richy is a disaster at LW. Our best attacking play lately has come from EXACTLY that combination.
This makes no sense the objective reality is not that Johnson scores more consistently than Richarlison. They both need binning in the order we have begun.
That’s flawed thinking because what you call “our best attacking play” is still garbage compared to better teams. We need to hold ourselves to a higher standard and demand better. These players are not capable of the consistent attacking quality needed or they wouldn’t be here.
That’s why they are here….
I would like us to have better quality as well- I’m talking about what can be practically done now with what we have available.

Played as a No 9 til I was about 12 or 13 and I was awful, couldn't score to save my life...but even at that age I knew that one of the biggest things for a CF is to check the line and time your runs. I still coach u9-u11's every now and then and even those kids know how to keep an eye on the last man so they stay onside, or how to bend their run etc.
Fuck his goals. One of the worst signings we've ever made. Can't fucking wait til that psycho is gone.
