It’s an indictment on the player that a sizeable proportion of the fan base would hope he’d be out for longer.
Although no doubt the 7 weeks will be nearer double that, the board will consider this not quite long enough to warrant buying cover!
As much as I want to help put the spammers out of their misery, I don’t want the club to mistakenly believe that the current dross turning out for us are anything but a side that belong anywhere other than in the bottom half of the league table.
