Management Roberto De Zerbi

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Cruel and typical that he’s clearly the manager we’ve been looking for all of these years and we get him in far too late.

The guy would build a dynasty if we gave him a 5 year contract and backed his project, yet we’re getting him in with fucking 6 games to stop us from going down to the championship.

All that time wasted with bums like Paratici, Lange, Ange, Frank. This guys coaching has a ginormous ceiling.

Maybe should've pulled Xavi out and organized the rest to play like 10. Keeping him in on dead legs impacted how players position themselves and relied on him to his bit when has was basically a crawling cone.

Not blaming on hindsight, but I really was shouting to get him out and set the 10 to play man-down game.

No way is it possible to assess De Zerbi at the present time.

We should have held on today but didn't. We should have been better at Sundeland but weren't.

There are 5 games to go and we will see what he can do. After today survival is less likely. Simple fact.

I'm only intetes4ed in what's best for us, and the best managers (in my opinion,) create something that looks potent but also a unit that responds quickly to difficult moments. That will be my metric next season, whatever division we are in, and next season I would expect us to be exactly where our money and stature demand.

For now my minimum expectation is that we play with passion, pride and a semblance of organisation.

I think we have looked a bit better under him. My question: does he have an organization, e.g. talent coordinators, etc. Can he identify the players we need and get ownership to sign them?

He doesn't have the luxury of not being judged after a few games, because it's exactly what he was brought in to do. Was much better today, but letting things be so open at the end was inexcusable.
