There are for sure some whoppers in the team, yes. But the fact we have no technical players in the squad makes it impossible to play football. You can be as smart as anything, but if you can't pass, or be comfortable on the ball, you can't play highly technical, fast football.
You say this but then continously support starting Richarlison, who literally can't pass the ball, has the worst first touch in the squad, has no particular on field relationship with any player, probably because he can't have a conversation in English.

You think running into dead ends is bravery and trying to make things happen? I think too many Spurs fans don’t understand what an actual footballer looks like these days. You need actual ability in this game.

They probably do have ability individually; in fact we know they do , in all fairness.

It’s being able to express it in a collective situation that seems to be beyond them .

Hopefully RDZ is addressing that ; that’s what he’s being paid to do .

Because he's marginally better than the other two pieces of shit that we have. Sorry I can't magic up a good striker that doesn't exist. At least he can score the odd goal.

Either way, you're point just further highlights the stupidity of the hire.

From the training clips, RDZ is putting emphasis on moving the ball quicker...proper football. A lot of these players are going to struggle. Hanging onto the ball too long kills a team trying to get tempo, very few players ever are actually useful when they hang onto the ball too long.

It's easy to shit on the players. Def deserve some blame.

But these days, the carrot works better than the stick

I wouldn’t be taking them out for dinner though. I would have used the three week break as a time to take them all out on one massive night out. Get them all lashed up and then see what happens. Home truths, friendships, camaraderie, possibly some fights. Go old school. I bet it would be better than a few sparkling waters and a couple of 7ups

He probably wanted to go old school

But he’d been told that most of our
players “ couldn’t score in a brothel “ ;
and something got lost in translation.

So he went for the “ ritzy Michelin starred restaurant and mineral water all round “ option ; instead .

There were glimpses of it on the weekend though. Little passages of play where we played out of defence well and got on the attack.

I've been proper depressed all week but I do remember those moments and then tell myself we lost to a deflected goal, Richy fluffed good chances, etc.

There's moments to cling to. We need moment after moment after moment with end product in every half of every match now though.

He can put as much emphasis on it as he wants. Just because you strap wings on a pig, doesn't mean it'll fly. We don't have the players capable of playing this way.

No I don't.

Are you that limited that you'd read my post and that is all you can came back with?

What I think is brave is that a youngster, thrown into a team where the senior pro's are either phoning it in or going through the motions, is actually trying to make something positive happen.

He could quite easily do as his peers are doing and plod, but he's not.

He's 20 years old and making the effort to lead by example, when those supposed to inspire him are doing the opposite.

But he's low hanging fruit for people like you.

It sounds like the games beyond you, buddy, never mind.

I doubt we'll be seeing much of Tel under RDZ anyway. I’m sure they've seen enough of his poor decision-making and lack of ability in training, as have the other managers who didn't fancy him either. Hopefully, he’ll be sold in the summer and recoup some of what Bayern have robbed off us.

It's ok lads, not won in 2026, not won in 15 games (apologies I've forgotten). Playing shit, losing to all and sundry.
Let's go out and celebrate in a swanky restaurant.
Fuck that.

I guess it’s a case of ; I don’t care how you got here ; but I’m going to get us out of here .

I can see what he’s trying to do ; and am grateful. Someone has to try something, anything to turn this ship around.

Give them all Champagne, Caviar , Cuban Cigars, Cocaine and high/class strippers ; if that’s what it takes .

The post/mortem can ( and should ) happen later .

Revenge is a dish best eaten cold , and all that .

Haha, fair point mate.
But I don't see Bill Nick and Eddie Bailey doing anything of the like. And IMHO,that's what this bunch needs.
