Been in post just over a month and he's got these players believing they can football again. Despite the injury crisis continuing - if anything getting worse. All by simply reminding them that they are worthy. That they don't have to be afraid of the ball.

We'll never know all the details but from reading around the Marseille stuff and De Zerbi's quotes on the matter it wasn't as as straightforward as you're making out. De Zerbi himself has literally said he refused to come sooner for that reason and I think there's some degree of truth in that. Managers don't often walk out of extremely emotional, stressful jobs and directly into another smouldering binfire within the space of a week - usually there's a cool down period.
But money talks so who knows? We must've raised the salary and /or offered a lot more control when we went back to him so we certainly could've negotiated harder the first time had we predicted the mess we might end up in with Tudor, so maybe you're right.
I couldn't believe the audacity that prick had to stand on TV last week and say he was shocked that we were in a relegation battle. We lost 22 times under him last season. Yet he's surprised we're in a relegation battle?! The only reason we weren't in one under him last season was because the 18th placed side was so bad. He's a fucking grifter. No surprise he isn't in a job, and he'll never work in a top league ever again.
Redknapp was the origin of our best era. Managed youth players better than any manager in my living memory. Gave us Gareth Bale when any other manager would have bombed him out. Modric. Put faith in Kane, Townsend and others. He made us CL regulars.
Ultimately, he's a bit of a tit and his arrogance was his undoing, but without Harry Redknapp there is no top 4, no Bale, no Modric era, and very likely no Kane.
I always saw Jol as the catalyst for that era.
He contributed in our ascension, but Jol had nothing to do with Bale, Modric, Kane etc.

I really hope he keeps us up because I think we’ve found the right guy. Let him be ruthless in the summer and get rid of the ones that need to go. He’ll not be blinded by players stepping up for 5 or 6 games. Can’t wait to see what he’ll do for us.

100%. We looked far better coached yesterday than we have for ages. He’s laid down principles, players getting tighter to stop crosses was another big one I noticed with Porro in particular. Leeds will be an interesting game, let’s see some more improvement!
I said months ago that this was one of our biggest issues, particularly when people were digging out Simons. You can be the most creative passer on Earth, but if there's no proper movement ahead of you, you'll look like a lower league plodder.
Movement in the front line moves defenders and opens gaps. Synchronise that, with your own movement used to produce gaps that other players can exploit, and you create opportunities all over. Then your creative players shine.
Muani has been a traffic cone for most of this season. Yesterday, his movement was excellent, it opened gaps. Tel was the same, he was switching sides, using the width on both sides and providing pass outlets in dangerous areas. It's no coincidence that he put in two gorgeous crosses that could have ended with 2 goals, but got us 1.
That was probably the most "complete" performance I've seen from us this season. We got a full 90 minutes plus of committed and balanced Football, with every single player working in sync and leaving it all out there. Not a single one of them should be held to any form of criticism for that performance, we were superb.
