Bergvall fucks up to many times and it's been costly. . He can run and break lines with the ball but his skill set is limited, He needs LESS minutes and less pressure on him..we've asked to much of the kid, but frankly there's not a chance in Hell he'd get on the bench let alone game time with a top four team.
Not sure about that, the real issue is that he needs competent coaching to improve what he does well, and develop what he does less well, and knit it all together into a cohesive role in the team that produces something tangible on the pitch.

As it is he currently shows just some nice individual flashes entirely disconnected from anything else going on around him.

It's promising but will eventually fade to nothing if he remains subjected to an absolute muppet as a manager.

Well if you don't know... then why answer . You can't blame his fuc ups l onto the manager or the coaches .. through no fault of the manager or the player, we've been forced to played him week in week out, when really, AT BEST he should be getting a few minutes at the end of games..and his fuc ups get wiped over because of his age.. frankly defensively he's a liability.. the little defensive header on Sunday IF done by a Liverpool player would have been lauded as great ..... Outside our box he makes dumb plays and gets caught and dispossessed easily.. he's decent at breaking through the opponents lines but that's outweighed by his shocking defensive lapses overall, he really should be anywhere near the starting 11. But hey keep blaming the manager.

He's one of those players who is exceptional for his country but crap for club...the truth is somewhere in the middle although everyone looks crap under this manager so...

Ok I'll rephrase it more bluntly, you're wrong.

None of his issues stem from minutes on the pitch, more or less of them will make no difference whatsoever. Under this manager, he will gain nothing at all.

There's a possibility that the more experience he gets on the pitch, he will learn for himself and develop independently of whatever goes on on the training ground. But for him to become the absolute best he can be, he needs a proper coach to guide him.

Same goes for the entire team. Almost every single positive we have seen on the pitch this season has been in isolation from the team as a whole, Spence, Gray filling in in numerous roles and giving a good account, Kulusevski's little streak of form, Bergval's occasional flash, all of them have had minimal overall impact on the team.

Completely agree with this, the amount of times I read on here people saying of we were crap but bergvall was brilliant (because of one good attacking moment usually) when he is so poor positionally, jogs back most of the time when we've been countered, constantly loses his man, gets caught doing dumb things in dangerous positions. Hes just a kid so hell get better but I think it is very telling he hasn't come through a top academy system in a top 5 league.

Or just perhaps one player playing well means that it's an exception...

Bergvall is a standout in a sea of shit and even then he made a horrendous error against Wolves and was totally lost against Liverpool but I'm not holding it against him, just like I'm not holding it against any of our other players this season - they're playing bad but they're not that bad.

Hopefully next season we'll be as good as Bournemouth, Brentford, or Crystal Palace with one of their managers.

So.. let's go through your answer, you say none of his issues stem from minutes on the pitch?🤣 I've heard some dumb retorts but that takes the biscuit!!!
And perhaps he'll grow from his experience,, well maybe he will in the long term but AT THIS MOMENT we've seen the results of the pressure extended game time at a club where theres 'no where to hide'. The pressure builds and it's huge, like the prem theres no room or forgiveness for errors . .. he keeps making costly errors in nearly every game or perhaps you don't see that..
And how exactly will a coach stop him making errors.. answer? THEY can't, they can protect him by bedding him into the first 11 GRADUALLY.. but that's it
As for the rest of your supposed answer I suggest you take a good look and try to make some VALID points other than jumping on the rather tired ignorant blame the manager or the coaches.
Band wagon

Astounding lack of self-awareness, bravo!
