surely at this point, he himself even wants off to a far softer league where he can take his time on the ball. be glad to see the back of him now, very weak midfielder for this level.
 
I’m not sure who will pay anything decent for him. Wouldn’t surprise me if he ends up hanging around here picking up the cash in that new contract.

He plays like he doesn’t care much.

I just don't get the rush to give Bentancur a new contra t, which presumes he was considered irreplaceable or an experienced calm hand. Again however it seemed sensible in the wider context.

The club's decision making needs to improve on the playing side on a seismic fashion.
 
He reminds me of a player that is at the end of his career , time has caught up with them , the brain knows what it wants to do but the legs have gone . He needs to play in the Italian league where the pace of the game is so much slower .
