I remember him as a prolific goalscoring 2nd striker in Academy before about 5 years later he saved Poch's job coming off bench v Notts Forest in a LC fixture where we were 2nd best, scoring from 30-40 yards with Harry Kane and Andros Townsend also then scoring .... a little later a player purge with Adebayor, Kaboul and Capoue leaving so as to get the team on the road. Poch's changes and spell of success at Spurs started with Ryan.

I'm happy for him and wish him every success. So pleased that he was part of the Europa League success, as he is one genuine, Spurs man. One of the things the Club did right was looking after him after that horror incident where he was lucky to come out of it in one piece.
But the time is right for him to spread his wings and get some experience at another club. I think we forget how young he is, if it hadn't been for that injury, he would probably still be playing.
