Aberdeen beat Hearts yesterday to be the team that gets humped by Celtic in the Cup Final. Been an up and down season for the Dons but they could still just scrape 3rd and get a trophy. Would be nice to deny yet another OF trophy.

The referee helped enormously in the Aberdeen cause, but if your up against ten men for an entire 2nd half and don’t have any attempt on goal even a shot on target doesn’t bode well against Celtic
Celtic up 4-0 h/t v st Johnstone today

Tonight is the last fixture card in the Scottish Championship. Falkirk and Livingstone are neck and neck on points but Falkirk have a better goal advantage. Both their respective games are on BBC Iplayer for anyone interested .

I'll be cheering on Falkirk for no other reason than I'd love to see Scott Arfield achieve promotion with his 1st club and the story of him wearing the number 37 to honour his friend Craig Gowans who passed away and also played for the club.

As I typed all the above, Hamilton put one past Falkirk so I'm blaming me for being a bit of a curse.

Surprised to see SPL still going. Would probably like to see Hibs hang on for a European place but they still have to play both bigoted brothers. Might be better to get Conf over Europa as there’s a better chance of a run and more games. Aberdeen also have to play the Huns and Septic so it’ll be a good battle.

SPL finished now. Very credible 3rd place finish for Hibs. Aberdeen somehow manage to finish 5th in what appeared to be a 2-horse race earlier in the season. They’ll need to beat Cellic in the Cup final next weekend - which would be the biggest upset since Hibs beat Rangers back in 2016. Can’t see it happening but hope it does. Be interesting to see who Rangers get as manager next year. Some big names being touted (Mourinho, Ancellotti). Would Ange cross the Glasgow divide?!

:ange-hmm:

Fifth is about right for Aberdeen. Start of the season was a huge outlier. And they will get totally pumped in the final.

A guy i know connected to The Huns still insists that Dyche is coming to manage them.

Might be the grit and pragmatism they need. Whoever it is, I hope it’s more spectacular failure.
