If you’d giving Hearts the option of second at the start of the season they bitten your hand off but to go most of the season top then the last day of the season lose it would/will be sickening I’d imagine! But to even be were they are is an achievement they were in the championship 10 years ago! Next season will be a big ask to repeat it they didn’t have Europe this season , if they get to group stages they will struggle in the league.

All Scottish football fans should be praying Hearts win it. Even Celtic fans. For once Scottish football is relevant again. If they don’t well it’s back to the big yawn
Celtic or Rangers will not want any other team muscling in on their golden ticket
No way would Celtic fans want Hearts to win this. Completely unrealistic expectations of your average fan.
What this season has shown is that it doesn’t take mega millions to compete up here. Maybe this will pique the interest of other investors and we can see a league where there are more than the Glasgow sides competing.
It’s always stuck in my craw that Aberdeen has been ran for most of this century by a glorified painter & decorator when the likes of BP, Shell, Chevron, etc have been around the place. Ripe for a takeover with mega sponsors on the doorstep.

who has only distant memories of this mornings 12 pack of cans, is now taking hits of Bucky from Big Shuggies bottle that is by now, half Big Shuggies spitback.
Fast forward to tomorrow lunchtime when Mince awakens to that cold and uneasy feeling of knowing he’s pissed the bed, but hoping he hasn’t, a hangover that could kill a hippo and the stark realization that he fingered Auld Senga outside the bar last night and his favourite jeans are covered in both bin juice and her juice.
Enjoyed it at the time but paying the price later. Step safely young man.

Hearts didn’t have European football + punted early doors from the domestic cups only had the league to concentrate on! Next season different situation all together with a bigger work load and their main player Braga could be off, Devlin hasn’t committed to a new contract either so……

Exactly it’s a tightrope…….balancing act that provincial clubs like Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs or this season Motherwell have no chance of being successful in doing both
It’s a long term build thing I suppose. And only once in history has even mid term success been possible for a non old firm club.
However, I stand by the point that success can be had and maintained with minimal investment. If Hearts do hang on and get that lovely CL money, they could be around for a while.
Let’s hope so cos fecking knowing Celtic are going to win the league every season for the next two decades is depressing
Scottish football has become fuelled by sectarian bile because every season it is either Celtic or Rangers. Obviously Hearts have their own Hibs rivalry which historically is based in sectarian hate but now days the rivalry is mostly nothing to do with religion
