If you ever want an example of how you can use VAR to fix a match or how a season plays out last night is that.

Celtic vs Hearts last game of the season to decide the title, it's all so fixed.

The Prem is no different. So fucking bent.

I'm not Scottish and generally have limited interest in Scottish football but I actually felt a bit sick watching that last night. I just knew Celtic were going to score. I really hope Hearts can do it but I think they seem beat already somehow. Their players on the lap of honour after they'd just won 3-0 but heard about that Celtic penalty, looked like they'd just lost. I am looking forward to Saturday lunchtime and truely hope they do it.

Everyone arguing over the penalty, but ignoring the foul throw that directly led to it.
That's because it wasn't a foul throw.
You are allowed feet on the line when taking a throw. So others aren't ignoring, others may just know the laws of football better than you.

Now in respect of the penalty, absolutely nothing has shown that the ball does anything other than hit the head of the defender as far as I can tell

The Penalty - Ridiculous that VAR poked its nose in. No way was that a clear & obvious error by the ref.

Pretty much a chance for Rangers to deny Celtic a huge shot at the title today
I reckon Celtic's first goal was offside with a player impeding the goalkeeper's view at the very least.

The player near the penalty spot is in the process of shooting at this stage of the action.

Hard not to look at this any other way....
The SPL, our own PL (Top AND bottom) have "somehow" contrived to all go to the lady day... that's convenient for Sky and the Money men, innit?
The only way it doesn't go to the last day is if Newcastle beT West Ham, and we win at Chelsea.. and we ALL know Sky won't allow THAT to happen....
They've already secured the film rights for Battle of the Bridge II

It ALL fucking stinks ! And I think the wider football audience is finally realising it!

Do they release the audio of VAR checks in Scotland?

I strongly suspect the match official was hung out to dry by the way the VAR official in the booth characterized what he was going to look at. Which doesn't forgive the mistake, but spreads the blame.

Anyway, don't be assholes to referees off the field. Fight for a game that can be officiated properly and hold referees accountable for their performance against those standards.

The SFA also released a statement that 2-1 they thought Hearts were denied a penalty of their own against Motherwell that would have rendered all of this pretty moot. VAR even sent the ref to the monitor but he didn't change his call.
