I think I've realised where the confusion originated.... Matt1882 Matt1882 ....

The irony that I'm also
called Matt in real life hasn't escaped me....

Twas my angry mug on TV I'm afraid! 😡

Just for clarity, no multi... we're not the same person!

Does that help?

Are you the guy with the spurs baseball cab and grey beard?
TNT showed that guy again celebrating last night after we scored I think

Does anyone know what percentage of our income comes from ticket sales, assuming the TV money is top earner, followed by sponsorship?
From the 2024 accounts
Match Receipts £105.8 Million
Uefa Prize Money £1.2 Mill
TV/Media £165.9 Mill
Commercial £244.7 Mil
Other Revenue £10.4 mil

Total £528.1

So match receipts appox 20% of total revenue, biggest earner Commercial which probably includes NFL/Concerts etc.

Thank you, surprised at that breakdown, then again, at the extortionate price we pay for tickets, I shouldn't be.
Relegation will hit harder than I thought, as I definitely won't renew at the current price.

Match receipts are are an important part of total revenue and it all depends how people want to look at figures as they can be presented in different ways (just ask politicians) .
e.g From last accounts total wage bill at club is £221.9 million so you could argue that ticket prices are paying less than half the wage bill.
Have to remember the there were less matches covered by the last accounts as we had no Europe so ticket revenue was lower, think we had 19 PL and two home FA cup.

Were you angry IN the stadium or caught on the way out?
I was off out of there on 55 minutes. I was half expecting to find I'd been filmed sneaking out and didn't know about it.
But nobody here knows what I look like so I was really confused :roflmao:
No, I was Very much IN the stadium....
Once when the 3rd goal went in, and once at FT.... In the FULL GLARE of the cameras....
Which, believe it or not, despite my job, being actually SEEN on camera is something I try to stay out of!

Hopefully the moany cunts who aren't bothering to turn up during the relegation fight all fuck off forever. Will make the stadium a much better place - like it was last night.
Easy to say that after a win, but the club and players have to meet the fans in the middle, in terms of:

- pricing
- application

I wouldn't go to a game and be a moany cunt, but I'd happily moan online about poor performance, management and ownership of the club. They have richly deserved to be moaned at. Our fans deserve much better.

I wonder what percentage of those match receipts are season ticket income, which they receive before the season starts. We go down, those millions of pounds suddenly vanish.
