Just received an email informing me that I can't buy my usual seat for the Frankfurt game because of additional away support even though I'm in the west upper?
Good way to piss me off around renewing time 😡

Blame UEFA , part of the rules I think that 250 top price seats must be made available to the away team on top of the usual allocation in the lower tier.

On another matter just had a ST renewal notice stating that they are looking for ST's who want to move to a singing section in the south stand.
Sad state of affairs when you have to do something like this , I hear Chelsea are doing the same thing , if the football was more exciting there would be plenty of noise but Vic rolling the ball to Romero , then Romero to VDV then back again ain't exciting.
 
Used to be a member. If iraola or poch returns will buy membership again. Not sure how much a season ticket ranges from? Heard it was an arm and a leg plus kitchen sink.😊 Would like to go corporate one game v gooners or a decent European team.

Bloke locked up this week who had 350 Chelsea memberships. Must be keen.

Be the same for all teams in European competition , home clubs are obliged to offer 200 top price tickets to the away club , following is from the CL rules probably same for EL, not sure how the segregation bit can work though in somewhere like west stand upper.

45.04
Visiting clubs are entitled to receive 200 top-category tickets for their premium supporters, sponsors, etc., but they are not obliged to take the full allocation. 50 of these tickets must be provided on a complimentary basis, and the rest are to be made available for purchase. In this regard, the provisions of paragraph 20.01 of the UEFA Safety and Security Regulations apply. These tickets are to be located in the next highest category of seats after those providing access to the home club’s VIP area. They must be located in a single block, with appropriate stewarding and segregation, and must fulfil the following conditions:

  1. Located on the same side of the stadium as the visiting club’s VIP seats (as referred to in Paragraph 46.01),
  2. Located between the two 16m lines, and
  3. Located approximately midway up the stands.

I’m not complaining about that, I think it’s a good move. I must have missed that bit on my renewal email. They’re not really promoting it, it’s hidden away on the email. Strange, I suspect because they don’t want the hassle of moving loads of people.

Bit about the singing section in south stand came in on a second email about renewal , it has to be done on the request a move form.
