Ex-Spurs Player Serge Aurier

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It's a funny one - the legal problems have probably been resolved but I can see why Spurs aren't exactly shouting about it from the rooftops.

If nothing else, Levy tends to learn his lesson from something going wrong. The Sol Campbell fiasco has been followed by a clear mission to stop players at this club ever being able to run their contracts down in a similar manner.

Likewise, the Willian transfer was an embarrassing mess but I get the impression that Levy never wants to let something like that happen again. In this instance, I'd bet Aurier is already signed up to Spurs under the proviso that the appeal was successful.

Shame we won't really know about it until Monday. Maybe in Poch's post-match press conference at a push.

They're named after NFL Quarterbacks, Tom Brady and Russell Wilson. Not going to comment whether that's any better than naming them after Woolwich players or not :dierno:

Only one is named after an NFL player. Brady, I think.

His missus named the other Wilson because she liked the name. It just so happens that Wilson is the name of a top NFL player.

It is. He was there in 2001-2002, same year they won the title.

Here he is in the youth squad. Pretty much the same age as in the widely distributed photo at the parade.

Never knew Ian Dowie was a keeper

And people call me pompous.....

To be fair, you're the most up your own arse person on this forum. Rarely see you say you were wrong, constantly talk down to others and try to "Bring your expertise" to the table.

I'd rather sit and talk with Arce, Totti, Sammy or Joe over you, as at least your words get through to them. You're like a brick wall who thinks he's God.

I remember when we were linked with Rabiot and people said no, because Bentaleb is better. How times change.
To me he always looked good, yet a little on the feeble side.
We would have bought him, if he wanted to come, but PSG knew he was atalent and didn't want to let him go.
He was at Man City in the youth Before they let him go about 14 yrs old.
He's has really done wonders with his physique in the last few years. He's filled out and looks strong.
He now is a domineering player and only 22.

Which is how players thrive when they leave the academy/loan system of teams like City and Chelsea.
