Good footballer or not, everything I've read about this dude suggests he is a massive bell-end. Given what appears to be great team morale under Poch (up until Rose went rogue) it seems like a hell of a gamble.
its been a while, girlfriend and i split up in February. (blatant i had a girlfriend post.) i'll take what i can get.
I think Aurier will be a good signing, he is like Rose in that he is tough and fearless. I'm not sure Walker had that to the same degree as Rose and Trippier lacks that a little. That is Davies biggest weakness in my view. I think the way we play it is an essential characteristic in our fullbacks, so Aurier would greatly improve us.
At least he can't get home sick for the North of England though

always thought Walker is fearless and always stands up for himself. Liked that trait in him..
Doesn't have the same aggression as Rose though, I feel.

I agree Walker stands up for himself, and he has fearlessness, but what I said is what I meant: Walker is not as fearless as Rose. Fearlessness is a spectrum in my view, not a binary trait. That's where I think Rose gives us something Walker couldn't quite match and which I think Aurier will. Maybe, as Totti says it is also about aggression.
Walker is passionate but comes across as petty at times or a bit childish in all honesty.
Whereas Rose is pretty much game from the moment the whistle goes, runs with the ball so aggressively and powerfully. Walker doesn't.

still feel rose is impetuous with it though. Could definitely channel the aggression better.
I think it sets the tone for the whole team - I like it.
i like the aggression, but he could do with calming down a little at times. lost count of the needless fouls he's committed.
