Are you still expecting Ange to win the Europa League, avoid relegation, become James Maddison's children's godfather and climb the steps outside Philidelphia City Hall with a large group of Spurs supporters jogging behind him?

We aren’t getting relegated.

Europa League is winnable if we get into the top 8. If we have to do playoff then send in the kids and rest for PL.

The other stuff I have no idea tbh

Iraola has done little wrong but I do always grow wary of these guys who punch above their weight for a short time without any real success. Certainly some work out but also a lot of flash in the pan managers. De Zerbi was everyone’s golden child 2 years ago. Still probably a good manager but people aren’t bending over backwards to try and get him now. It takes a lot of different qualities besides just novel tactics to be a consistent successfully manager at a big club.

Not like some of us on here haven't made this exact point a million times as well.

Nobody on here is listening, they just want latest thing.
It’s a daft point. Every football club has injuries. It’s just our idiot fans who think we have it the worst.

The more relevant point is look at how Iraola has coped with those injuries and his Bournemouth side hasn’t totally fallen apart like we have. Plus his squad cost and wage bill are a fraction of ours. He’s clearly outperforming our manager on every level.

It only makes Ange look worse. Iraola's team has remained organised and strong in offence and defence, even with the injuries. With our injuries Ange's total lack of tactical acumen is exposed. If the players aren't fresh enough to run like Olympians for 90 minutes, you see how shit the setup is. A tired Ange team couldn't even score a goal against Tamworth and was an inch away from losing.

They play once a week. Completely different proposition.

Guarantee you if we go for Iraola next, we will be right back here in less than 18 months with very similar people saying he can't coach and doesn't have the tactical ability to be good enough for this club. And not because it will be true but because we will be going through rough results for some reason or another. Also, 1000% guarantee we will sign a player that nobody likes and very similar people will be saying they don't trust his judgement on players.

Those aren't even difficult predictions to make either.

I still think Scott Parker could be a good shout.
He’s a top level championship/ lower half premier league standard.
About right for what levy has funded us to be.

2 losses in last 17 mind, With those injuries,playing once a week. 10W 5D.

Beating 5 of the current top 6 and drawing the other.

Anyone remember what our form was like last season when we was playing once a week and had injuries?

Shite after the first ten games?

Feb and March was 7 games, 14 points so 2 points per game

If you want to make it a longer sample size, start from December in the league:

16 games, 36 points @ 2.25 PPG

That spell was probably better than the famous “first 10 games”, especially considering it included the brutal Christmas fixtures
