You follow a line of brilliant defenders, especially Ledley and Mabbutt.

As regards pairings, you and Toby are the best ever. When I started following Spurs we had Mike England and Phil Beale. They were brilliant too.
 
I am gutted we let him go as I think he will go to a big club and still be a top CB for a few seasons. Toby and Jan could have served us a few more seasons of to defending. Now we are left with Dier who was on his way out under Poch because of his very poor performance's . Now Jose is making him his pet project and that will not benefit Spurs.
