Match Southampton vs Tottenham: Sunday 15th Dec Premier League 19:00

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Bonkers is the word man.
2nd best attack, equal 3rd best defence, +17 goal difference and sitting 10th. Some weird shit happening.
Stats can be misleading though. We've put a few teams to the sword this season with some big wins but all of our losses have been by a single goal I believe.

The bottom line is we lose too many games and we have a tendency to be bullies when we get our tails up.

I'm expecting Yang to get a Euro loan as well but until we see him over here, we have no idea.

Moore they decided he'd be better off here than on loan. I can see where they are coming from. His illness was a killer because this period would have been ideal for him.

Odobert the same. He'd have been knocking on Son's door for that LW spot by now. Let's see what he looks like when he's back from injury but I was really impressed with that debut.
It's a tricky one with Yang because if he stays at the club he'd be HGCT, if he is loaned within England he'd be just HG, but if we loan him abroad he'd end up neither.

We’ve just cost a man his job 😂

We're Spurs, we shouldn't have to rely on a 17yo, no matter how wonderful he may become...or a 20yo from Burnley. They should be bit-part players for the next 3 or 4 seasons, playing deputies to true world beaters...so not Werner or Johnson (nor 32yo Sonny).

But Levy.

Martin given the tin tack.

Not sure what their owners expect. Guardiola would do anything different with that squad.

When you have a weak squad relative to the league you have to play Moyes style football. Kompany killed the championship with Burnley playing Pep ball but then got killed himself in the prem doing the same.

Pep style football works the best if you have a 1-4th best squad in the league, then it dominates. If you have anything less it is far to risky as you don’t have the players to execute.

There is a reason Pep never takes on clubs who don’t have elite talent. He isn’t stupid.

How many good games has he had in a Spurs shirt? How many great ones? How many goals, assists, big chances created, goal-saving moves etc?

What about shit ones where his laziness or stupidity or whatever else you wanna call it cost us goals (for or against)...and, worse, big points?

I know where I stand. I don't buy the hype round him at all. His skillset is painfully average and his attitude leaves much to be desired. If Spurs were a serious club, he's nowhere near the starting 11. He wouldn't make the matchday squad for Pool, City, Scum, Goons...
