Not for offside calls, it either is or isn't on those decisions.I thought a clear and obvious error was the criteria for overruling a decision. Bollox makes it now so much harder going into the final game
Since when has playing well GUARANTEED you of a win...So how were we robbed?
By one bad call at the death? You think we deserved to win that match? Would you rather blame some guy in an office drawing some dodgy lines on the screen or the shite display for the first 60 minutes? The garbage tactics? The lack of guts on display from the majority of our players?
Blaming the officials achieves nothing, acknowledging the latter 3 points might.
We weren't robbed, if the goal had stood the Sporting players would be more justified in feeling robbed, not because of the decision, because of the performance over 96 minutes.
It doesn't matter Emerson played the ball backwards you can not be offside when a ball is played backwards
It deflects off the Sporting player and lands at Kane's feet
He legit under the rules can not be offside a
I don’t get it either and listening to Conte right now he doesn’t understand.I'm not the only one lol
"I thought because it went backwards and hit a defender it was a different phase of play. I'll have to look at the rule book. A few of us don't have a clue what happened."
Matt Doherty
I don't think so as a 1 nil loss and a draw for Sporting V Eintracht puts us all on 8 points. We'll lose in Marseille
Anyone that has watched spurs for longer than 5 mins surely knows that
Is there any scenario where we lose but still progress ?
Pretty sure there isn't
There was zero expectation on us to get that result. The expectation is that we get a result at Marseille , I'd suggest history shows we'll fail to do so
Brilliantly summed up. As far as the officials are concerned, their interpretation was offside. Whether we layman agree or not is irrelevant. But you’re right why are Spurs relying on decisions to win a game. Brian Clough once commented that ref’s decisions affect moments in a game, his teams had the rest of the 90 minutes to win It.So how were we robbed?

You see players like varane going down injured and it must impact other players mindset. It can't be coincidence that the league is pretty ropey so far, players must be not going full throttle. It's a jokeCan I have a discount for the pre World Cup games do you reckon ? As based on what I am seeing full pricing is an utter piss take.
Tonight, VAR masks a disgusting performance.
No needs to go challenge system is not a solution (it's worse imo) as blatent ones if no challenges left still are not corrected. In this case every chance they have a challenge and this shit still happens. The only way I can see VAR having a legit use is with a challenge system like in tennis. This farce has gone on far to long.
Football is corrupt as fuck mate, they want the drama and to take things down to the final day. It's all a big rig job imo. VAR has just made it even worse than it was before. They need to force officials to explain decisions after the game.
Why didn't they send the ref to the monitor? It's a bunch of fucking nonsense.
