That's a good question. Looking at the final averages for a game and especially the seasons final averages might help. The difference between 6 and 6.5 is massive. No player has ever hit the magic 7 since I've been collating. A player consistently finishing with a 6 is under achieving whereas a 6.5 is very good. Kane hit 6.65 I think last season.
It might seem a small increment but a 0.50 margin is more significant especially over a long period.
I considered giving Vicario a 6 but thought he was maybe better, but not deserving of a 7. So I gave a 6.50 based on a reasonable performance considering his acclimatisation has only just started.
You could look at your ratings ( which I haven't) and ask.....was he a dead 6 or 7 or in between, or a 5 or 6 or in between and so on in relation to any player. If the answer is.....no my ratings are all dead on whole numbers....fair enough.
