The lad needs games, whether it be with us or on loan but he needs to play.

Just Sanchez left to play is it?
Wednesday 30 March
Rodrigo Bentancur - Uruguay away 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Chile - kick-off 12.30am
Giovani Lo Celso - Argentina away 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Ecuador - kick-off 12.30am
Davinson Sanchez - Colombia away 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Venezuela - kick-off 12.30am
I imagine Walker plays one of them games with Clyne the other. Let's hope Walkers injury isn't serious.
BTW, Did I miss a meeting... when the hell did Roberto Martinez become Belgium coach?
It either totally passed me by, or I instantly forgot!

Lenny or Winkler? ?Henry is assistant coach.
A few too many meaningless international callups for my liking these days - classic case being Romero who has a 2 match international ban, but called up in case he gets let off his 2nd match ban and a new 'Nations' Tournament (and yes I know it replaced 'friendlies'), and there being 2 or even 3 matches in international breaks now rather than one match (years ago).
Doesn't help when you compare the number of players called up from Newcastle (very few) allowing them 2 weeks training and match preparation time which the Spurs team won't get as there's only 4 or 5 players NOT called up.
.
I still take pride, but mainly for international tournament finals rather than qualification games
Qualification games should be phased out.A few too many meaningless international callups for my liking these days - classic case being Romero who has a 2 match international ban, but called up in case he gets let off his 2nd match ban and a new 'Nations' Tournament (and yes I know it replaced 'friendlies'), and there being 2 or even 3 matches in international breaks now rather than one match (years ago).
