To think this is an average Johnson performance as well. Anything more than 15-20 mins off the bench in the Prem and cup games against lower division teams is just too much to ask from him.
 
I thought it would take him a while to turn us into Brentford but hes done it in less than 5 months. I've never see a more uninspiring half of football in 40 years watching Spurs. If we dont win tonight and dont beat Leeds at the weekend then time to sound Iraola out because this isn't getting any better even with return of the walking wounded. Frank is totally out of his depth as predicted.
 
We only have one 6 that is Palhinha. Gray and Bentancur plays more like 8’s so the balance is wank.

We don’t have Maddison so can’t run the game and Simons isn’t on

Johnson is a good goalscorer but a shit winger.

Palhinha, Simons and Kudus would fix most of this but it’s a worry we have to use them.
 
So far off it. Can't get our forwards in the game, when we do its painful watching them johnson over hit passes and Richarlison donkey touch.( think he actually only had 2 touches)

And Bentancur stupid as fuck challenge to come off the ground like that in your own box.

Sarr’s been invisible or getting caught in no man’s land, Danso is poor on the ball, not sure why so many rate him that high. Johnson’s infuriating to watch. Bentancur been poor. Vicario can’t kick the ball, so no idea why players in a decent position decide to go back only for him to shank the ball out of play. Richarlison, like the guy but we need to move on from him asap no good enough. Odobert, Bergval and Porro been our best players
 
I’m actually embarrassed by that. Imagine Tottenham sitting in letting a Norwegian team take the piss. They are tidy and that’s it. Sarr non existent. You can’t even say he’s had a bad game he’s just no touched the ball. He’s playing centre mid for fuck sake. Bentancur the exact opposite. He’s in the game but brutally bad tonight. Bergvall needs to do more because he’s better than just being ok. Johnson usual fuck all. Odobert actually looks really sharp but once he gets away from the full back he’s got nothing to play with.
Richy absolutely gives fuck all. Can’t run in behind and can’t take the ball in. Remember the days when strikers could do a bit of e everything? He can’t do anything. At least come in and try link the play or leave a space for Bergvall or Sarr to run into or even for a wide player to make that out to in run
Back 4 defending ok but zero positives apart from we are not losing and we have Kudus and Xavi to bring on to give us a spark.
 
If we'd combined the fees and salaries of Johnson, Odobert and Tel we could have got a top class player. We just fritter so much money on special deals.

I don't hate these players, they're just... Not good enough
