The guy's scored 40 goals for us in 108 games, many of those (I suspect) as substitute. He's scored against Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd, Inter Milan. Screamers, tap-ins, last-minute winners. He has his limitations, and I admit it's probably time to move him on soon, but the guy's done a decent job for us. I'll remember him fondly as part of the group that helped us into the Champions League and its last 8.

Watching that vid and reading this I just re-discovered my soft spot for Pav. :pav:

Arguably got the most important goal of last season for us, the 2nd away at Young Boys. A scorer of great goals (and important ones) rather than a great goalscorer unfortunately.

You can see me in this one in the last couple of goals.

I was at Uni in Southampton and lived 500 yards from the Dell. I was in the Milton Road end where we scored those late ones to sew it up and I get out of my seat like a hard cunt and punch the air.

Bloke next to me told me to fuck off as we'd get hammered by Liverpool at Anfield.

He was nearly right. It was the other half of Merseyside that battered us in the semi instead. :sad:
