They essentially need to top tier perfect CMs with good passing, dribbling, vision, tackling etc. to cope. Very few such players in the world, never mind Skipp and PEH who are both substandard on the ball even under normal circumstances.
So much proof of how average we have been right here.

I just want someone to put me out of my misery. I used to be proud to support Spurs, the style, the flair, the players like Hoddle, Gascoigne, Modric, Bale, VdV, Berbatov, Klinsman and on and on.

If the new guy has full control and is willing to get a new DoF post Paratici with a clear modern football vision and support it by fixing recruitment then of course he can become that, we don’t know he might, he could be great we don’t know yet.
But the culture of a club starts at the top and Barber has overseen along with owner Bloom something incredible at Brighton. We should pay attention to them.
