Feel like that's how Skipp should play, if Son makes the right run the space opens up. If he stops and turns backward Brighton get numbers back the opportunity is gone.

I think there’s too many on here exaggerating how good Brighton were. We are dogshit and still beat them and it wasn’t as if they battered the door down. They didn’t get a couple of decisions but it’s usually us that get fuck all. Get it up them and their arsehole players. When did they think they aren’t allowed to get tackled. What really grates is nobody in the media listing Godfrey’s gouge on Kulusevski early in the game? As that happening twice surely paints a picture that Everton were overly aggressive?

Ffs every team you watch even in the champo play better than we do. We literally have no idea what to do with the ball when we start from the back. We very rarely build up the play passing in between the lines in to the oppo half. Son scored a worldie and the other was a counter although we were actually pressing high for a change. Just shows though what that can do.
We barely create any real chances. I’d just like us to get back to how we use to play and be on the front foot looking to score especially at home. This is gone on too long where have 30% of the ball at home. We pay our money to see our players who have cost much more than Brighton players be on the ball as they are meant to be better. Just think rich and porro prbly cost more than their team. That Japaneorward cost how much compared to rich? Looks far more dangerous and has great pace and control. Shocking recruitment!

That’s bcos the players haven’t been coached to release the ball quick and fast. Look how many times one of our players holds on to the ball instead of just making the pass. Romero does it all the time, son and kulu as well, even harry does it when he thinks he can beat the oppo on his own. Their just now intelligence in our play. No pass and move. No one to receive the ball in good positions. Brighton do often would ping balls around in our final third finding players with little passes. We never do that!
Sometimes you win ugly. We have a lot of injuries that has affected how we play and our freshness / options. Winning pretty is possibly asking too much right now. We are way short on depth and form .
I don't get the begrudgement of such a win ?
