On that performance I hope Trent is starting midweek! He was atrocious. I think this Liverpool side arguably being the best in Europe is more of an indication of just how much of a lull football is in currently. They wouldn't have got close to previous Man City teams.

Thing is, TAA and Slop started the season falling out with each other and maybe the Real thing is causing some friction.
Damp weather brings on the asthma.
Trent is awful defensively, but still - none of our wingers tested him in any way during our last match. He especially pocketed Son. If our wingers are not able to create anything in this sort of matchup, it tells everything.

With our first-choice GK/defence I'd fancy us for a score draw but with the back line as it is, Pool's frontline will just have too much for us. And they won't take their foot off the gas like Newcastle did, they will want to put the tie out of sight.
I'm expecting a result similar to the league game.
