Does this always work though. I remember a couple of years ago we were well on in fa youth cup, poss semi final. Devine and Scarlett had been playing up and were brought back for the game. It was as if it was beneath them and we were well beaten. They were poor.
Not saying that this would happen with Mikey but has just had 2 weeks with first team. Bound to be thinking of bigger things.
 
It's such an odd decision to remove Moore from U18 or even U21 squads if he isn't going to be in the first team squad.

Whilst he's well above U18 level, he could have been involved with the U21s yesterday and got some minutes at that level.

Maybe Ange has been flogging them in training to try and get up to match tempo.
