Player Spurs Youth 24/25 (including younger players loaned out)

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Question, Do the youth teams play Angeball and if they do, do they suffer the same injuries? It is noticeable that Gray, Moore & Bergvale have avoided injury and is it just those in their 20’s + that are suffering

All 3 youngsters have not played anything like as much as most of the injured players
- Bergvall has begun starting matches regularly only in last month or so
- Gray has played more, but at start of season was more playing as a sub.
- Moore has only had a few starts.

Biggest thing though for the injured senior players is the match schedule has become :

Play Sunday
Rest Monday
Train Tuesday
Train Wednesday
Play Thursday
Rest Friday
Train Saturday
Play Sunday

So very little rest, and not much training hence a high propensity to injuries. Youth would never do this schedule. BTW Bournemouth have a lot of injuries - and they mainly play once a week

We need to win by at least 3 4 goals to have a chance of qualifying for the next round.

We would then be relying on the result of Sutton vs Forest to go through.
-A Sutton win would see us knocked out
-A Forest win would likely see us knocked out on goal difference
-A draw with Sutton winning the shootout would likely see us knocked out on goal difference
-A draw with Forest winning the shootout would see us through (if we won by 3)

:avbshit:
corrected this, the table I saw was wrong. We need at least a 4 goal win to have a chance of qualifying. Probably need 5 or 6 for the other scenarios.

Couple of U18s on the bench including recently returned from injury Myrtaj.

Good to see Baptiste and Rowswell given starts in this dead rubber match - allows coaches a chance to see whether they are fully match fit.

A few players who have been out of favour of recent given another chance - Ashcroft and Williams perhaps in that boat as may be u18's Orr and Adekunhle on bench.
