Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Isn't Kinsky cup-tied for Europa anyway? Made 6 appearances for Slavia Prague in the group stage.

Edit: no, apparently UEFA abolished cup-tied restrictions in 2018/19, so no restriction there.

correct, not restricted from playing in EL

But I think Spurs need to prioritise getting Spence, Tel and Danso into EL over getting a GK in, where we can still have decent GK cover without Kinsky (although I really like him coming to Spurs - class gk)

I'd like to see a list of all players we have who are 23 or under

Surely we must have the best young u23's in any first team squad in the Premier league?

You have not listed Danso as an HG player (I have excluded Robson in my list although there is space)

Moore is not listed as an u21 (will be 7th for your list)

So you either have 21 including Robson (who will never play) or 30 without him !

I have included Robson as he was officially included in the last squad and I assume he is still there.
All the other players are included in the First Team squad on the OS.
Moore is listed on the OS as an academy player.

No surprises
- includes the u21's playing in Spurs first team squad
- includes younger players on loan
- includes the 3 new 18 year old signings

It’s almost certain that Forster, Reguillon and Gil will leave in the summer along with academy players Whiteman and Robson.

Loanee Solomon returns. Loanees Veliz, Keeley and Craig also return, but they are now no longer U21,

Assuming these four are all included, we would have an EPL squad of 24.
16 NHG and 8 HG.

Chances are they won’t and they will be loaned again or even sold.
So our squad would be 20, 13 NHG and 7 HG.

IMO Bissouma will be sold and, unfortunately, Dragusin is out until December.
So, our potential squad would be 11 NHG and 7HG.

Omitting Forster, Reguillon, Gil, Whiteman and Robson from the current 1st team squad, here is the full list of returning loanees and academy players who have been included in a first team squad this season.

Forster, Reguilon, Gil and Robson (plus Werner) will certainly leave in summer - there is a possibility we retain Whiteman (need to give him a new contract though) as he is a CT goalkeeper, and atm we do have spare CT places.

I could also see Solomon being moved on as he seems to be fine for lower PL or Championship, and we need better. Craig has not done well on loan and I think probably better for him to permanently join a L1 club.

Veliz needs to be tried at an appropriate level for him - possibly Dutch league (as Parrott) or maybe Portugese league, as he's currently not good enough for PL or Spanish top league. ATM it looks as if both Scarlett and Lankshear are more proven than Veliz at Championship level and cameos for Spurs than Veliz - but the right loan for Veliz could show he's at least at the same level.

Keeley has excelled at L1 Orient and needs to play at a higher level club - but also needs to extend his contract. He joined Spurs when over 18 and cannot ever become HG or CT which is a shame, as he has potential to become a PL goalkeeper, but to make that jump needs another year or two playing on loan at higher levels, might be in Championship or a 'secondary' European league whether Dutch/Belgium/Portugal et al

Jury is still out on Tel but if he's coming good we need to keep him even if we think he's.

Agree, Bissouma has been inconsistent since he arrived from Brighton and with his contract down to one year needs moving on - but replaced. Bentancur's contract also down to one year so 50/50 if he stays or goes. Sarr has a lot of energy but has disappointed me in that he doesn't bring much else to the side. I wonder if we might be smart and move on Bissouma and either extend Bentancur's contract (which means he stays) or sell Sarr - and bring in one experienced DM plus bring back Devine (can play DM/AM and RW) and Abbott (can play DM and full back) IF Ange (or incoming manager) agrees to give Devine and Abbott meaningful minutes - both would be List B and CT in a couple of years, so we free up a squad place. However that might presuppose we are in europe - if not we might not have enough games and would reloan Abbott to a much high level club (eg Championship) for a year.

The CB situation is potentially fluid with rumours of Romero wanting Real Madrid, Davies contract needing renewal if he's staying, Dragusin injury. One reason why we had a very solid if not good January window was bringing in Danso.

Otherwise imo most of the focus needs to be on Spurs forward line next summer, and maybe LB/LCB.

Left Wing
Son
- maximum one game a week, rapid decline in output. Sell or stay - sad end to a club legend
Moore - Vast potential but currently not physically developed enough. He needs playing time in 2025/26 but break out might not be until 2026/27. Maybe one game a week for him too ?
Richarlison - Never fit, so think its better if he goes to Saudi, nobody else would pay a fee and his wages. If not he's 60% in sick bay and 40% possibly available
Tell - If signed, he could probably divide playing time on left or right with centre forward

Centre Forward
Solanke
- Undoubtedly the main man for us in the forward line. Good presser, good target man. Decent goal involvement likely to be 15-20 per season
Tell - Seems to be main under study
Scarlett or Lankshear - Both excellent prospects, but if they stay need to be given meaningful playing time to develop. Both have scored for Spurs in big games.

Right Wing
Johnson
- Frustrating for some fans but Johnson is more of an inside right/second striker with one of Spurs best goal involvements.
Tell - Another position he could understudy
Yang - Too early to say although he's starting to look good at QPR. If he excels at QPR he might be good enough to develop at Spurs next season (like Bergvall has this year at Spurs) or he might need another loan

In short its an area where we have a number of players, but are short of fit enough if playing both PL and in europe one or two others may be needed - and we need to make decisions on Tell.
