Stadium Squid Game Comes to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It makes me mad because the parasite is taking the piss out of us. He took the club and turned it into his own goldmine, throwing stupid plastic crap like this at people who have no interest in tottenham to grab their cash, all the while mocking Tottenham supporters every passing year.

Maybe it's an over reaction in the context of this thread but fuck Daniel levy.
I am more worried that they won’t back a manager in Jan that I question but if we are going to stick needs to be backed more than any other manager in Enic tenure.

Basically for Wolves & Liverpool games the ground will be used to promote the Netflix Second Series 'Squid Game'.

Frankly don't be surprised - you'll be ducking bullets before you know it....Can imagine the giant 'Red Light/Green Light' Doll has Daniel Levy's face imprinted on it....

Purple Light.. Gold Light....

"All we want is to be a football club, be a football club, be a football club"

repeat to the tune of yellow submarine

Levy's gonna be SQUIDS IN with this one!

Our Club is just a vehicle for making money for ENIC, isn't it? :(

I believe it's still the case that all profits get put back into the "Tottenham Hotspur FC" (not necessarily the "team" in the form of player purchases or wages ) so it's not a case like the Glazers where money is siphoned out of the Club's revenue in the form of dividends.

The only way for Enic to realise its profit is to sell the club which, somewhat ironically, is what the crowd will likely be chanting for on Thursday.

That's why I'm all for the NFL games and Beyonce concerts in general. However, Netflix tie ins that have a gameday presence? No thank you.

Same here regarding events when we're not using it, but this squid thing is just ridiculous. I haven't been much of a "Levy basher" in the past, but recent decisions have started to rile me, and I question whether these decisions are being made for the good of the football club.

I guess this is where following the Son gravy train has brought us. Is it safe to suggest we are specifically marketing to Korea & Korea-philes with this latest move?

I guess just don’t really understand what the squid game series has to do with Spurs except that we have a Korean player.

Erm... Squid game was a hit because it was massive around the world NOT because it was big in S Korea.

The tie in is with global Netflix not S Korea. Could just as likely have been Stranger Things if Netflix thought it needed such PR gimmickry.

But- then why us?
Is it really just a coincidence?
Is Netflix really interested to attach their brand to our club?
