Tactics Starting 11 for the 22/23 season?

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

So would most agree that this is currently our best 11 with everyone fit and available? Obviously it might change if and when we make more signings:

Lloris

Doherty
Romero
Dier
Langlet
Perisic

Bissouma
Bentancur

Richarlison
Son
Kane

Feels very harsh to drop Davies as he's been excellent under Conte. But I don't think Langlet came to sit on the bench. Went for Richarlison over Kulusevski, just. Sometimes it's easy to forget that Kulusevski is only 22.

I'd start Emerson, Davies and Kulu tbh.

Lenglet will have to earn his place as Davies had an excellent season.

Richarlison I'm torn on as I love, love, love Kulu, but I can see why Richarlison might start.

I expect Kulu to have something of a drop off, for example with assists he was significantly over what he was expected to get. Could continue by virtue of playing with Kane & Son but we were riding the crest of a wave for that part of the season (Kulu was a big part of that tbf) so wouldn't be surprised if he was a bit quieter.

Not sure about Richarlison starting on the right, though. Seems to me whenever he's played he's been a LW or CF.

Lloris
Romero - Dier - Davies
Doherty - Hojbjerg - Bentancur - Sessegnon
Kulusevski - Kane - Son

Everyone that came, be it Spence (hopefully), Perisic, Bissouma, Lenglet, Richarlison, Forster or whoever else, should earn their spot in the starting 11. And the ones that have should try not to lose it, even Son, Kane or Hugo. That's the mentality that the squad should have.

I expect Bissouma and Perisic to come in quickly to the starting 11. Lenglet and Richarlison will have a lot of work to do to get ahead of their competition.

Doherty and Dier in starting 11? so fuckkng underwhelming

I was hoping there wont be any mediocre player in starting XI going next season.
Jesus Christ. There are so many donkeys out there who still shit on Dier. He was rock solid last season and is playing the best football of his life..

Is he the best centre back in the world? No. But unless you want to spunk £60m+ away on a player who may or may not adapt to English football then get used to seeing Dier at CB.

Based on what we have now:

Lloris
Romero Dier Davies
Doherty Hojbjerg Bissouma Perisic
Kulusevski Kane Son

If Richarlison and Lenglet want to take the place of Deki and Davies they will have to earn it, in this moment those players are untouchable. They played at a consistent top level for Conte. Bentancur and both our LWBs were more flaky and I think they will quickly be overtaken by Bissouma and Perisic.

It’s just great to have actual quality players on the bench now. To have this starting XI (plus Spence to come) and Richarlison, Sessegnon, Lucas, Skipp, Bentancur, Lenglet, Forster on the bench is a great level. Even under peak Poch we didn’t have this kind of standard.
