Hi I'm a newbie and was reading the daily mail app this morning about the potential 3 signings of Paulinho,Villa and Mkhitaryan, I noticed that the first two have been given guarantees that bale will still be playing next year. I really hope this is true but realistically what is everyone's thoughts on all these going through and Bale being here next season?

The Mkhitaryan one looks to me like an agent trying to push up offers for his player, the deal to Liverpool looked done the other day, could be that they are leaking false info to try and get the scousers to give them more wages.

Personally I think Bale will stay, other than that I'm not getting too excited about Villa and Paulie just yet.
 
Yeah I hope the Villa deal goes through out of the three to be honest, i think he would be class. Paulinho would be a great signing also and he seems to be making all the right noises, but saying that I hope it's not just noise.

Currently Bale is the biggest draw at the club..he is our 'Champions League football' and the long-term benefits of keeping him for next season far outweigh any money we could get for him.

If keeping Bale can secure us talent like Villa and Paulinho this season, we have every chance of making Champions League next season, from there we can attract better players for the following season, and so on... Like I say, the long-term progression of the club is worth more than £60m / £80m / £100m in our pockets this season, and with Bale under contract, Levy has no pressure to do anything he doesn't want to do (though I'm sure it won't come to Bale being told to honour his contract).
