It's akin to me saying "Fuck it, lets sign Jonjo Shelvey, he's English!"

... I can't even begin to think of Spurs signing players just because they are Danish

What do you realistically expect to happen with Bendtner this window, NorseYid NorseYid ?

depends on what metrics/markets you are looking at, but i hear ya
Its all foreign stuff going on in London, trading between Arabs, South Americans, Russians, Indians etc. And the Chinese are building their own 20 acre business district in East London.

Also London gets a lot more foreign investment then any other city in the world. We Brits don't do an awful lot but live there.

To be honest, if not for the football, I wish my ancestors had shifted off to the US and become American. Lower taxes, more women, cheaper fuel, Rachel McAdams, bigger cars, a slightly fairer political system, Emma Stone, a health system where you know where you stand...but then if I were a Yank then I'd rate this chap just because he's American too, and I'm not sure it's worth that, personally.

What an utter waste of what looked like potential

When he started playing for Denmark as an 18yo, barely having played for the wanderers yet, he looked like a true world beater.

Quick, skillfull, good vision, never-say-die-attitude. Oh and big as a brick house.

In truth, his DIY antics and subsequent international team ban was just an easy excuse to drop him.

Compared to back then he now looks terribly sluggish, heavy touch, tunnel-visioned and careless. And muscle has quite clearly gone to body fat.

Tbh he is a good example of what is wrong with modern football and player power.

Do as me however. Take comfort in the fact that it is Woolwich that he is bleeding for 50k a week and not us, the lazy doze.
