What fucks me up is this loser mentality that we have accepted as a club.
Yes, the window is open until 4 matches into the campaign, doesn't mean we need to sign any fucking players then IF we prepared and did things early.
I think this "other clubs don't either" excuse is for losers. Why do we want to be like the rest of them? Settled squad who know what they have to do going into the season without change is an unmeasurable bonus rather than having some leave and some come in a month into the season and no extra time to get them settled in.
Mitchell has been here since November and he still hasn't got any targets? Are you tucking kidding me? Or is it that Levy chose not to go after them once again? There is absolutely zero upside to doing business late.
If Palace, Saints, Swansea, even Newcastle and West Ham can go after targets for cheap and make instant impact, what the fuck have we been doing? Don't say "may not fit Poch's plans" because from what I've seen, he still has not convinced me what fucking plan he even has. We have zero variation to our attack and we are one of the most predictable teams in the league. We do the same thing over and over again, unless that is Poch's plan, which should be enough to get him fired. But, if he does have one, and needs the players, there surely are many who fit the same role that can be done early if the one we want doesn't want to come or is overpriced.
Telling me that we only wanted Njie the whole time is horseshit. If he signs, he could've signed two months ago. If it is Berahino, everyone knows about him.
We didn't play badly against United, an immature Bentaleb aside, but looking at us try to attack was deplorable. You can't be a coach if you think we need not sign anyone before the start of the season.
Someone has fucked up. Given that we have done this shit way before Mitchell and Poch ever got here leads me to believe, it is once again, none other than Daniel fucking Levy. But people continue to believe his lies and let him go about doing shit all. We should not be satisfied because we snagged a decent signing on deadline day. We should be angry as fuck it took so long to sign a player for a position we know we need to improve. It's called bad planning and in any other industry, if you keep making the same mistake, you would be fired.
So, for the umpteenth consecutive year, fuck you you bald headed, arrogant, near sighted, narrow minded, lying cuntsack. But you know, we get the success we think we deserve, so you naive dipshits that keep defending him and this insane process, well done. To the rest, we soldier on.
