I have a feeling that Falcao will do well at Chelsea.

He's had a year of getting back to fitness under his belt and Chelsea are a lot more settled in their style of play and formation than United were last season.

Ok. I`ll try and explain.
If Berahino is the player Pochettino wants, and he costs 25million, as a fan I would rather see us pay the 25million than spend 6million on a third choice alternative. I would not be going to bed at night worrying about us doing a Leeds or a Portsmouth as a result. When I go to WHL, I like to see a winning team on the pitch. That gets me excited. Studying our balance sheet and calculating what we can and cannot spend to reach the magical net figure of zero doesn`t quite get me off in the same way. I reckon most fans of most teams probably feel the same way.
Well I take it you don't run a business then?
We can't afford £25m mate. Unless we sell. We have sold 4 midfield players and a defender for what £32m and bought 3 defenders for £20m. We will soon sell 2 strikers and another defender, if we believe what's rumoured. For how much, £20m tops? That will leave us with roughly £32m to spend having sold 4 midfielders, 2 strikers and 2 defenders.
The defenders are covered. I can't see us spunking the majority of it on one player, who might do well, and leave us short in other areas.
Who else has spent £25m on one player outside the top 4 and has not had to sell to do it?
You're not worried we will do a Leeds or Portsmouth? You should be, Reckless spending and borrowing to buy players nearly saw us go under once. FFs we borrowed money from Maxwell to buy Lineker and what did that get us? In his first season we got 3rd -when it didn't matter and Chavs air City were not about , and then we won an FA cup. We then fished 10th and, despite his 28 goals form 35 games, 15th.
This is a very important time for us as a club. Going heavily into debt at this time is not in our best interests.
It costs money to build a new stadium. The professional fees before a stone is laid have already passed the £20m+ mark.

Me, I'd rather we live within in our means until we get a new stadium or are taken over by an Arab country who pumps money into us to sponsor them.
Until then face the fact that we have a 36k capacity and pay premium rate ticket prices so we can compete on the level we do.
Otherwise we'd be llke Everton and Spam.
Oh and by the way.
If Lloris was already sold and his broken wrist is a Levy conspiracy why are we not spending the money, spending it big and early, just like we did when Bale had his injury?
You also say Levy is not spending and leaving it late?
Can't have it both ways.
