Invariably strikers convert more of their chances. Our inability to score more from the opportunities we created was on nearly every occasion I can remember the reason we lost winning positions.

None of this is difficult to understand which is why I find our elongated and protracted negotiations such a fcuking joke.

It is just like the Brexiteers. Never really wanted to leave the EU as in we don't really want to challenge because we would not know how to cope if we actually won the Premier.
Who is this shameless gooner troll and why hasn't he been ended yet?

Clearly you didn't see both Sanchez and Hazard have terrible season's. The Chav's finished a mighty 9th and Woolwich lucked out with our collapse. We had our own winners who arguably did it more than those names mentioned. Sturridge and Aguero are injury prone and were out scored by Kane. Martial was good in patches but certainly not consistent. Mahrez also had periods of going missing. Considering our squad was 'only' good enough for top 6 last season, I think the signs are there for us to do well with just a few new faces. We don't need wholesale changes as our first 11 is more than a match for anyone.

Completely agree.

With a lot of the other 'Big' teams set to make a raft of changes to their line ups, it may even benefit us to only make a few well thought out signings.

And if that's what Pochettino thinks is best then he deserves our trust - no point in people getting upset about us not having signed x, y, z striker......the only confirmation we have that we are potentially signing any player is the press or someone on the internet.

Do you have any idea what Kanes conversion rate is, or any other top striker/player?

I heard Ronaldo got 3 goals out of 30+ attempts and the pundits were trying to say this was a terrible conversion rate, but I thought 10% was decent.
Yeah, Kane's this year was 12.99%. Not amazing, but between 10-20 is the normal range. Over 20 things get very unrepeatable.
For comparison:
Cristiano Ronaldo 13.30%
Lionel Messi 15.23%
Lewandowski 18.67%
Luis Suarez 28.03%
Aubameyang 19.30%
Dele Alli 13.51%
Christian Eriksen 6.00%

I can't remeber where i saw it, but i think the top strikers have conversion rates of 17-20% and 'on target' shot rates of 50%-65%.
