Except we haven't signed Lopez or N'Koudou yet have we? ... and we haven't sold Mason?
Mason is in Hull having his second medical. N'Koudou and Lopez more than likely done already.

Depends on how may players you want in the squad and how many you can pay.Because levy is only interested in breaking even or making profit? Squad numbers, manager satisfaction, team spirit, fan satisfaction all play second fiddle.
Problem is that will only happen in the EFL cup. We can't rest players for the CL.I'd put Eriksen in list of CAM as well as Son on the left side too. I'd also put Alli in CM options.
It's not a bad squad. Not one that's really pushed on from last season though, that's the main problem. I just want Edwards to get some game time and impress.
N'Jie is still in the first team squad on the official site as well.Mason is in Hull having his second medical. N'Koudou and Lopez more than likely done already.
Yes because the chairman is the one that selects the players to buy at our club? And despite that,
- Lloris (one of the best keepers in the world for 12m)
- Alderweireld (our POTY last season for 11m in a market where John Stones is 47.5m)
- Vertonghen (12m signing for a man who has been a mainstay in our defence last few years)
- Dier (4m?! That should be charged in court of law)
- Alli (5m for one of the biggest rising stars nowadays, trusting the scouts)
- Eriksen (11m for the hottest young player in the world at the time)
- Van der Vaart (Great player who really propelled us in the CL)
- Modric (need I say anymore?)
- Bale (see above)
So many more besides that, not bad for a chairman who is the worst at signing players, we almost never sell players on a negative.
I was only talking about it as an option, Joe.Problem solved then. With Lamela and Dele on the bench we have options everywhere.
With all due respect mate you make no point.
Are we a big club or not?
And I wasn't being entirely serious.I was only talking about it as an option, Joe.
Might be particularly useful if we're leading and want to kill off a team at the end of the match.
Or squad rotation for those four competitions we'll be playing.

So because everyone else is spending more money we should be doing the same and potentially bankrupting ourselves in the process? ENIC are a sports investment company and have run the club as a very tight ship whilst also building a £500m+ stadium. However some fans are crying when it comes to us not spending £20m+, paying £100k pw salaries in the process on players who are likely to be sat on the bench? Okay.
Because Utd, City and Chavs are spending astronomical amounts the market need to line up with their spending. The market demands money to be spent.
The money the club make from the fans is negligible, they could charge us £100 but they do us a favour by 'only' charging £55.
So everyone pretty much agreed that the two positions that we definitely needed to strengthen were cover for Dier/Dembele and Kane
I thought they did. Slowly accumulating land, paying for the training ground, building the college and offices etc.
N'Jie is still in the first team squad on the official site as well.
It's kind of all laid out here.
Tottenham's Pochettino following Barcelona blueprint for success
Indeed, while Barca is mainly focussed on having a core of their own youth players, they are quite willing to spend big to fill a hole in the squad that can't be solved by using a youth player at that point in time.He seems to have forgotten that Barca aren't afraid of spending tens of millions on top quality players like Suarez..
The point was we did not have the fan base to fill a larger stadium prior to the ENIC revival. .
Many of those are under £20-30 mil - which highlights my exact point. It's alright saying we signed good players on the cheap - we have. And how many real quality signings have we made, of established world class players?
Out of that list there's 1 - VDV. (Before you say Bale he was a 17 year old kid who wasn't that expensive).
It's alright saying "We can't sign his wages, no CL football" etc etc but even when we have been able to provide that (this year) there's not been any real progression in terms of quality targets.
