I woule have Josh King ovet Janssen because he seems to have the attributes Poch likes in a player, he's proven he can score in the league and he suits our style of play more than Janssen does imo.

I know its still the 'in' thing to defend Janssen and claim he's going to eventually come good but i don't think thats the case.

To be fair, this is all theoretical.

If In reality Levy actually tried to prevent Bale from signing for Utd on the grounds that we have first refusal, but then neglected to agree terms with him then i'm sure there would some European workers regulation or some such would prevent us from denying his transfer to Utd.

Josh King would be such a pointless signing, forget janssen, son has proven time and time again hes able to deputise when Kane is injured .Stricker is one of the positions that doesn't need strengthening

It's still worth something. Plenty of deals are sewn up before anyone other than the clubs involved know about it. If anyone gets an offer accepted for Bale, we have to be notified immediately. We will also know the exact amount of money that we have to offer to ensure it being accepted by Madrid. Of course, we'd then have to agree a deal with Bale which will almost certainly never happen.

I remember a couple of seasons ago people were calling out for us to sign Swansea's Gomis after a he scored in a couple of games...

Jamie Vardy is another one - now there's a one season wonder.

John Thomas is the school of thought where you demand new contracts and bumper pay rises for our squad, and then when the club does that, you just say it means nothing anyway.
