If Sterling is on the out at City we should be all over him. The guy is class and if his confidence in front of goal improves he'll be world class

There's a player, somewhere that hasn't got a lot of love in this transfer window whose got a point to prove. A little bit of magic well and truly underneath the radar that would thrive in our shirt. Max Meyer anyone?

Also I'm fed up with this Man United arse licking going on. I don't think they will win the league and I've seen more About Matic in the last two weeks than I have in 8 years. Fucking media sheep

The flip side being....

Also not sure how signing players late is costing us but signing injured ones that can't play is ok
Strange thing there is actually everyone is saying 3 months but there hasn't been any official statement on the severity of the injury or the expected length of time he'll be out since he suffered that second injury.
It's supposed to be a grade 3 tear, but that's not been said by Everton.
There was about the first operation, but not this one.

Max Meyer would be better than barkley in my opinion.I'm worried that he could be not strong enough for the prem and he also is just a rotation player for schalke at the moment but i don't know why exactly.

I suspect it's a broken arse like numerous players get before a move elsewhere.

1st post...

Fucking fed up of this window. Club needs a good slap. We must be the only top side in Europe that has a view that our first 11 cant be improved. Everyone bar Woolwich (look at the mess they are in) has brought in players to improve their first 11.

I accept we have a philosophy of developing players. But what about here and now? as it stands we have a back up centre half, and a kid thats played 7 first team games plus a 3rd choice keeper.

-Weve no pace or walker replacement, despite selling him for 54m
-No Kane back up, despite needing one for about 3 years
-No pacy wide player or ACM that can unlock a defence or provide competition for Eriksen.
-back up full backs are not good enough...

Is it any wonder Walker and Rose want out?

Congratulate the club on Sanchez. But 1 potential first teamer holding up the shirt 2 days before deadline day? Thats what I get for my season ticket?
Welcome to the forum mate. Fantastic first post too. Nail on the head.

And here we are.

Before the window opens it is calm down FFS it hasn't opened yet. It opens and then it's patience FFS and now it is just typical that a player we might want is injured and another is subject to a Home Office ruling.

In a whole football planet you would think there is a space between what we have, what we need/want and affordability in a timely fashion.

Oh to add., but selling players is so easy.

Then when a few of us go on people wonder.

I really couldn't care less about Barkley. Surely we could have our sights set a little higher? What has he done in an Everton or England shirt?

For me he would only be signed as a prospect. He's not creative enough to break teams down that sit deep against you (he did well having teams not respect Everton like they do Spurs and having a target man like Lukaku to go over the top to - imagine the assists Eriksen would have got in his situation) and should only come in to play alongside Moussa in Midfield to add more CM penetration. If Ross accepts this is a position where he will add most value to his team and get the most out of his career I'd welcome him. He's no Moussa, he's no Eriksen and he's no Dele but I think he has enough of a mix to add something worth taking a punt on.

the only thing I wonder is how far over 18 stone you are

Max Meyer is not a Barkley alternative - completely different type of players. Goretzka, his Schalke teammate on the other hand... I've still got a feeling we're gonna be linked to a move for Draxler on Thursday

hate him nearly as much as Luiz. Overrated IMHO, all show and not a lot else. 'Match of the day' players. As in they do one thing every now and again, get the headlines and everyone spunks all over them. Not for me and hate everything those type of players stand for.

If either of them are signed I will of course edit this post and refer back to it in years saying how I felt they were always underrated.

Spursy.
