If we can get him on the cheap and he's willing to play second fiddle to Kane it's a good move. We get a proven and experienced striker who will actually contribute goals
Always been a huge fan since the BIlbao days, thought he was set to come here when we played them in a pre-season friendly back in the day.

Importantly he offers something different if Kane isn't firing, much more direct or "vertical" as they say here, one of the best headers of the ball there is.

Absolute fucking dreamboat too...

I think Mahrez will end up at Woolwich.

We need pace. Mahrez would be nice, but he's no different to what we already have.
Apparently he's in Paris?

Riyad Mahrez is in Paris - but then where?

A blurry picture has emerged on social media of Riyad Mahrez in Paris awaiting his next move.

A number of clubs have been suggested as his eventual destination, including Barcelona, Woolwich, Chelsea and Tottenham.

It is possible even Mahrez himself doesn't know where he is going yet. But it is a lot easier - and quicker - to get there from Paris than Zambia, where he was due to be going ahead of Algeria's World Cup qualifier on Saturday.

Chelsea or Spurs?

After what he said about title collapse 2 years ago, it'd take some very good displays and a winner against Woolwich at the Library to forgive him.

Think if fairly obvious what most of us want or don't want.

No to mahrez
No to llorente
No to gomes
Barkley - meh
No to gray

Yes to someone good like werner or martins but they won't happen
I'd take Mahrez and/or Barkley. Either would be a great signing.

Llorente would sour the summer for me. If we buy that cunt we announce to the footballing world that we are forever a Europa League club and we invite all willing suitors to make offers for our best players.
Llorente will herald the demise of this Spurs side and Poch will be gone within two years.

That's how bad a signing Llorente will be.

I can't help but feel that if this happens it's due to the player making his mind up some time ago. He perhaps is keen to further his career, train with mates, live in London and have the opportunity to shine. If Spurs have been told by the player they are the only one he wants then they are going to sit and wait until the last minute. Tell the player to sit tight and we'll wear them down. £23m is my guess if it happens

watching transfer deadline is painful on Sky. Ex-footballers spouting shite they're read online as if they have inside knowledge, all with the aim to impact betting odds. What utter bollox, never usually watch it but but it on over breakfast as was the only one up in my house.
