Main focus should be 2 CMs and a quick RB. Then replacing Eriksen and Toby if they leave, then adding more pace and skill in attack

I'd like a replacement for the ever injured Lamela, but would like someone a bit more experienced than James. But as a pure punt, I think James is better than N'Koudou for example.

I'd take him as squad depth. Very promising player with two 15+ goal seasons under his belt. Won't become a starter from the get go but would definitely be able to offload Lucas/Son/Lamela if not outright take Lamela's spot if he leaves.

IMV though, pay him his money, pay de Ligt what he wants and pay Ajax what they want. It will 100% be worth it.
Not a bad option as a back up for Kane or as an AM - whether or not Llorente stays as he'd add some strength in depth.
