I think we still sign Lo Celso even if Eriksen stays as we need extra AM with injury hit Lamela, not sure if Lamela stays though and if Eriksen stays he might have new contract with get out clause if Madrid comes calling in a year or two time, so good to get Lo Celso integrated in this coming season

On another subject all gone quiet on Bale front, think it means Madrid need to pay more of Bales wages for rest of the contract than they've previously offered. Bake might yet be back on he agenda of possible in the AM/Striker back up role
Who's bake??

My betting would be Wanyama is on the out list as no point I. Having an injury prone back up. Better to keep a fit Dier and train up Skipp.

Might be unpopular but maybe 30 year old Sissoko leaves too. Done very well this season but relies totally on power/speed with no end product like passing which limits our effectiveness when we play.

Think the who goes list will be finalised as we see who comes in

Need Sissoko for depth, plus if he ever does find a pass on him, he would be useful at RB.

Aurier is fine. What RB's are available better than him?

Don't forget Levy's statement happened before we got into CL quarter finals - so what is in the statement is true but if written today might say at the end

"but has been very positively impacted by our CL run to finals the prize money and match day revenues of which has more than compensated those negative factors in terms of profitability.".

I hope you're right mate. Let's see. The thing is, a fair chunk of the monies gained from the champions league will be consumed by player and staff bonuses.

But no one was going to spend £60,000,000 on him off the back of two good seasons in a shit Austrian league.

Whereas we should be all over NDombele who has had not just two good seasons in Ligue 1, a huge step up from Austrian Bundesliga, but a good showing in the Champions League too.

I’m not arguing with signing him, I wanted us to sign NDombele last summer, I’m just saying Liverpool signed Keita based on more than one season.

Bentelab and N'dombele(please God)coming in means we will off load Dier imo. No way our we gonna keep N'dombele, Bentelab, Winks, Sissoko and Dier all happy.

Either Skipp is trusted as fifth choice or we keep Wanyama as 5th choice and let him know he will get limited minutes which he might not mind due to his injury history.
Wanyama would be out before Dier I'd think. Dier is more useful/versatile.

A well known tweeter saying what I suggested a few months is now in process.

Nabil Bentaleb buy back clause being activated ( circa £24m)
- 24 year old with CL experience ( played CL last 16 with Schalke this season)
- Club trained
- Poch knows him well, he knows Kane and others well so minimal integration required
- Mainly played CM or DM in double pivot under Poch, used to play as AM in Spurs youth.good tackler passer knows how to press and get assists. What's not to like

Add him to Ndombele and Lo Celso as midfield (CM and AM) and probably done there - still need Kane deputy after Llorente leaves but that might be AM/striker.

I will never forget how behind he was on the Son transfer.

At least that article doesn't really pour cold water on the transfer - just says we're still in talks (which is good, and no doubt means the player is keen enough).

Surely a bid is what initiates “talks” anyway so I don’t get what Lyall means by this.

He just loves to go against the grain and pretend he has the inside track on spurs stuff, he’s a fraud.
