I doubt he’d be in the top 5 players in Manchester.

Bloody hell. 39 new pages. Would someone be kind enough to tell me if we’ve signed someone?
Pochettino has tactical flaws, makes bad decisions now and then......hardly breaking news.
Every successful manager does it, but spend some money on some quality players and they tend to hide, or at least balance out the managers flaws....
Klopp couldn’t make top 4 before spending some money.
Wenger was found out during Woolwich’s austerity cuts.
Ferguson couldn’t do it until he had cash, took him 8 years to win the title.
And i doubt Pep could get Spurs in the top 4 without money never mind win the league.
Pochettino needs money, plain and simple!!
But you get the point tho, managers need good investment as well as good management skills.I'm not sure Wenger was 'found out'. In fact he was able to consistently deliver top 4 and won a few trophies. If anything, it was the fans demanding more that ultimately killed the enthusiasm of the squad and the coaching team. Ironic really that idiot fans destroyed their own club - and we are seeing exactly the same story now with United. Idiot fans booing Mourinho after he won the European cup and finished 2nd in the league. I'm sure they will turn on Ole if he doesn't win his first 10 fixtures.
You lauded Liverpool’s policy.....they existed before Klopp8 years of signings? but Klopp has not been their manager for 8 years, yes of course you need to sign players with a good plan and hence we have Poch for that. It’s about getting players you need to improve the team and for that you need clear direction.
As for Poch I am still not sure what you want, he is never going to be perfect, not is Pep or Klopp but surely you can see giving him better players with greater depth increases the chances of success.
Well we were closer than those who said we’d finish between 7th and 12th ehPeople also said we were better than Liverpool & Chelsea & would finish above them.
But you get the point tho, managers need good investment as well as good management skills.
Wengers golden era 98/04 was coupled with bringing in top class players, but when top class players became more and more expensive and Woolwich just weren’t in that kind of market anymore the league titles dried up too.....
Utd were nothing before their money.
Blackburn spent heavily during their 2/3 season heyday.
City & Chelsea were complete trash before their sugar daddy’s, and good managers won them titles, average managers couldn’t, even with the money.
Leeds could spend, but never really had the manager to go alongside.
Even Liverpool have been horse shit without investment, and only time will tell if they are truly going to reap the rewards of two or three years of heavy spending.
Leicester were the one exception to the premier league era, but as we have seen that was completely a one off, and will be resigned to history.
Pochettino deserves god like status for what he has done, and what he’s doing, but he will never achieve the ultimate prizes without being able to bring in the players required.
He’s utter scum mate - don’t even botherNot sure what's funny about that, you andGOAT cut from the same cloth clearly, you seem to think it's fine for him to tell me to kill myself over an opinion on football.
Good job on that btw.
They got 4 points luck just against us! Pickford is another 3 that springs to mind .... so wouldn’t put it past them to have been gifted at least 20 pointsNot at all. I admire your faith & optimism. 20 pts is a big gap though. We would do amazing to finish ahead of either city or Liverpool. Liverpool did get a lot of luck but not 20 pts worth. We will need to spend a lot to bridge that gap.
I Don't think there much in it between us & Chelsea but now hazard has gone we should finish ahead of them. But they still have some good players. I disagree they will finish mid table though. They still should finish top 6.

Oh Come on..... If we hadn't been decimated by injuries, we'd have a) finished at least a lot closer to Liverpool (we were in the proverbial title mix at the turn of the NY) and b) waaaay above Chelsea.
That's not blind faith, that's an entirely reasonable assertion.
the dippers will never have a season of such fortune again and i don't think even the most ardent fans would dispute that. Gifted late winners on numerous occasions and those freak northerly winds that kept blowing Salah over. I can't recall one major injury of note they had either. Similarly i cannot imagine so much going wrong for us again. I'm not one to lament bad luck usually but last year was a fucking joke. They got 4 points luck just against us! Pickford is another 3 that springs to mind .... so wouldn’t put it past them to have been gifted at least 20 points
Good responseNabil Bentaleb
How about fucking off to a Porto forum instead of boring all of us real Spurs fans with your fair weather lingering attraction to us based on some affection to a mediocre (thankfully) former player with a massive attitude problem?
