Some can talk debt, others can talk being selective and cautious and others can cite failed signings of other clubs conveniently forgetting the gambles that paid off and the expensively acquired and paid stars who have made a difference.

But boil it down and we flatter to deceive on and off the pitch.

How can we always be the club who bid below asking price and set valuations over and above that which clubs will pay?

Sure, you can call this more griping but do not fcuking have this spanking new stadium and have the remnants of players that once were.

It is wholly and incontroveribly incongruous.

I made no prior mention of depth.

Remind me, where did Arse & United finish....?

Less injuries and we finish third comfortably, yet having played virtually none of the season at full strength 4th & a CL final is somewhat a testament to our depth rather than a sign that we had none.

Would more quality benefit us? Sure, but that's always gonna be the case regardless of how good we are or aren't.

I think we will buy players this summer and trust the club to do the business. The thing that's got me going is the people not understanding the realities of our position and/or not waiting to see the outcome before wetting the bed.

This is an alright position but then they keep on going on about it, every conversation is just pay the money Levy. Multiple times in the same conversation, then misrepresenting others views just to win internet points.

I don't have an answer to that question. I just want to watch my team play superb football.

Totally agree. I have him on ignore too. He loves attention on here & gets really mad if you catch him out. & if his hero spursdem says anything he defends it. Which is funny as spursdem spouts lots of hatred & abuse yet airflixx with a straight face is there saying spursdem is right no matter what. rose is a poisonous fat snake, yeah that's a good way go support the team. Falsely accusing others of racism, yeah I am down with that. Homophobic insults, yes please. Mental health insults, more the better! Which is why he is no credibility & best left on ignore.

You want something done (i.e. leave the business talk out of it), but you can't explain how.



(I know people won't like it and say it's extremity for extremities sake, but the logical conclusion to your stance is us all sitting round wondering why we haven't signed Messi....

Alternatively, may as well close this thread and start one where we just play toy soldiers, devising endless formations with our current squad.)
